Magnitude-5 quake recorded off GenSan

A magnitude-5 earthquake was recorded south of General Santos City Friday evening, the United States Geological Service (USGS) reported. The USGS website (www.usgs.gov) said the quake took place at 5:34 p.m. (Manila time) about 210 km south of General Santos City in Mindanao, or 315 km south of Davao.
